ESL Test Preparation module assists students in successfully passing different ESL tests (TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, and LPI) to gain admittance to post-secondary institutions in Canada and the U.S.A., to work successfully in an English speaking environment or to satisfy the language requirements of Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Our innovative North American Accent Training module helps students reduce their accents leading to a more native-like English pronunciation. It is incorporated into all levels of our ESL courses. There are separate accent prevention and accent reduction courses designed for mature and experienced ESL/EFL students. Professionals and employees will benefit with accent reduction to further their careers. Academic English module is designed to enhance students’ ability to comprehend and perform efficiently in academic or professional circles. ESL instructors will focus on different types of writing: paragraphs, opinion essays, letters, stories, reports, articles, summaries and memos. Our Business English module focuses on helping students to be successful in today’s global economy, to be able to understand and talk about key business and economic issues, to communicate effectively in business writing. The program offers a variety of pair and group activities to practice the most common functions and language of business: negotiating, taking part in meetings, telephoning, electronic communication, presentations, marketing and talking about products and services. After School ESL is designed for international students and also domestic students for whom English is not a native language to enhance high school students’ and university students’ ability to develop such crucial skills as scanning, skimming, reading critically, writing paragraphs, essays, reports, and stories. Special conversational classes will be very beneficial for adult ESL students. ESL Summer & Winter Integration Camp module integrates international students into native-English speaking environment. ESL camps are also very beneficial to ESL students; the quickest way to learn English is to be immersed in a native-English speaking environment. Our innovative North American Accent Training Program will be crucial component of this module. Our ESL Summer Integration Camp consists of three weeks of ESL instruction and two weeks at a YMCA Summer Camp (including 2˝ hours per day of ESL). Our ESL Winter Integration Camp consists of two weeks of ESL instruction, one week of classes in a Canadian school, and a four to six-day trip to a ski resort. ESL Camp students will live with English-speaking homestay families during the first two or three weeks of the camps.
