Accounting is an important tool of business. Computerized Accounting
certificate holders use accounting and office software to perform a
variety of tasks including basic accounting data entry. The use of
microcomputers in accounting has mushroomed during the past few years.
Manual accounting procedures are rapidly being replaced by automated
accounting packages. This new certificate is designed to serve the
needs of office employees who are involved with, or plan to become
involved with, accounting applications utilizing a personal computer.
Through this seven-course program you will be introduced to the
personal computer as a tool in business, and to accounting principles
and automated packages designed for basic accounting procedures.
