Student Activities

Opposite the campus is a park with tennis courts, basketball rings, a soccer pitch and picnic tables. Students are encouraged to use this park during lunch breaks to play sports, eat, drink and socialize to clear their mind and re-focus between class sessions.

There are also a number of café’s, restaurants and eateries close to Royal Canadian Institute of Technology. Cheap and healthy food can be bought at the Mount St. Joseph’s hospital cafeteria, and there are a number of Asian restaurants and a grocery store within 100 meters of the campus, on the corner of Kingsway and Fraser Street. There are also a number of coffee shops and deli’s on Main street – a 15 minute walk from the campus.
